Password to Access WebCT 6

At the beginning of every semester, all college network account passwords are reset, and a forced password change is mandatory. This forced password change must be completed before students can successfully login to WebCT 6.

Password Change Required Every 60 Days

To ensure that security policies are met, a network account password change is required at 60-day intervals. So in order to ensure that access to WebCT 6 can continue without interruption, we recommend that students change their network account password before the 60-day period has expired. Again, to change their password, students can either logon to a college computer, or they can remotely connect to the college network via VPN.

How to Change a Password

To change their network account password, students can either logon to the network on a college computer, or they can remotely connect to the college network via VPN.

Note:   Most students regularly connect remotely to other college academic resources such as Academic Shares and Home Directories - both of which require VPN access.

Access WebCT 6 from Off-Campus

Once the college network account password has been changed from its "beginning of semester" default, access to WebCT 6 is possible without using VPN.
